I grew up in Jeddah, a coastal city in Saudi Arabia, and completed my medical training at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences before moving to Calgary to begin my neurology residency. Starting residency in a new city has been an exciting opportunity – not only to be part of an excellent program, but also to explore a new culture and environment.

As a junior resident, I’m enjoying getting to know the field of neurology and exploring its various subspecialties, with a current interest in headache management and targeted therapies.

Outside of residency, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and trying new experiences—whether it’s a sport, a recipe, or an adventure.
