I was born and raised in Calgary, where I completed an Honours degree in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary before moving north to earn my medical degree at the University of Alberta. I’m now thrilled to be back home, training in the neurology residency program here in Calgary.

I’ve always been drawn to neurology for its problem-solving nature – every detail of the history, physical exam, and investigations can make a difference in reaching the right diagnosis and treatment. My research interests lie in autoimmune neurology, where many of these diagnostically challenging cases are found. It’s an exciting time to be in the field, especially with the rapid growth of new biomarkers like neurofilament light chain in conditions such as MS and ALS.

Outside of residency, I enjoy beer making, climbing, video production, and playing Dungeons & Dragons. My partner and I love exploring Calgary’s food scene, and we’re always looking for restaurant recommendations.
