I’m proudly from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where I completed my medical degree at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí in 2021. That same year, I moved to Calgary, where I’ve had the honor of working with Dr. Veronica Bruno and the Advanced Care Team for Parkinson’s at the University of Calgary, while completing a Master’s in Public Health at Imperial College London.

My passion for neurology comes from its essence – the ways it shapes how we move through the world and houses our identity. I’m inspired by the field’s shift toward person–environment care and the promise of gene therapies and new technologies to preserve the human experience.

Outside of residency, I enjoy exploring cultures, food, nature, ideas, and music – elements that, like neurology, are central to what makes us who we are.
